From May 22 to 24, 2026, the inaugural Beijing-Tianjin-Guangdong Symposium on Electrochemical Energy Storage and Conversion was successfully held in Yichang, Hubei Province. The symposium was hosted by the College of Materials Science and Engineering at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, organized by the Beijing Key Laboratory of Electrochemical Process and Technology for Materials, and co-organized by the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University, the Advanced Carbon and Energy Materials Laboratory at Tianjin University, and Hubei Jiangxin New Materials Co., Ltd. More than 50 faculty members and students attended the event.
