Update:2025-05-05

The 2nd Beijing-Tianjin Youth Scholar Symposium on Electrochemical Energy Storage and Conversion was successfully held at the Changping Campus of Beijing University of Chemical Technology from April 29 to 30, 2025.

During the presentation sessions, the symposium focused on key research areas such as energy storage batteries, power batteries, electrocatalysis and synthesis, as well as advanced characterization techniques. A total of 16 master's and doctoral students from both institutions delivered oral presentations, while 28 others presented posters. Attending faculty and students engaged in in-depth discussions on innovative technologies, research achievements, and future trends in the field of electrochemical energy storage and conversion. Professor Wang Feng, Vice President of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and Professor Yang Quanhong from the College of Chemical Engineering at Tianjin University, delivered closing remarks, recognizing the symposium’s role in inspiring research thinking and encouraging mutual learning and continuous improvement among faculty and students from both sides.

The symposium was hosted by the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Beijing University of Chemical Technology and co-organized by the Beijing Key Laboratory of Electrochemical Process and Technology for Materials, and the Tianjin Key Laboratory of Advanced Carbon and Electrochemical Energy Storage. Over one hundred faculty members and students from both institutions participated in the event.
