01 Psychology Snippet: Colors and Emotions

Did you know? The vibrant spectrum of colors carries a variety of emotional meanings. Color psychology has found that different colors can have distinct effects on both the mind and body. For instance, red can quicken the pulse and evoke a warm psychological feeling, but prolonged exposure to red light can cause irritability and a physiological craving for green to restore balance. Blue tends to slow the pulse and calm the emotions. Yellow represents liveliness, joy, and warmth, while purple signifies sensitivity and mystery. Understanding the emotional significance of colors, let us spread these vivid emotions and reap the flowers and fruits they bring!

02 Event Scene

At the event, we prepared a personal plant can for each student: yellow sunflowers symbolize an upbeat attitude of striving upward and thriving towards the sunlight; red tomatoes represent a passionate and optimistic mood, aiming for 'fruitful' achievements; blue lucky clovers and baby's breath signify overflowing good fortune and a unique state of complete happiness; purple morning glories and cornflowers convey confidence and wisdom with aspirations high as the sky and extensive knowledge; and pink carnations exude a sweet aura of tender romance and healthy happiness.

After receiving their plant cans, students eagerly began their planting journey. Gently digging into the soil, scattering seeds, watering, and waiting for germination. As the students sowed their plants, they also spread their emotions, experiencing a resonance between colors and the spirit.

03 Insights and Reflections

As time passed, the seeds took root and sprouted, and seedlings broke through the soil. We encouraged students to observe the growth of their plants daily, record their changes, and hoped that each student's plant would grow strong and healthy.

When I personally buried the seeds in the soil, I felt the vitality emanating from within them. I am looking forward to future good fortune, just like the symbolism of the plants!

During the planting process, I experienced a wonderful feeling of unity with nature. I felt as if I could hear the seeds breathing, eagerly anticipating the moment they would sprout.

When watering, I felt the nourishment of life and experienced a subtle connection with the plants. I am delighted to have participated in this event, which has deepened my understanding of my own emotions.
